Description
Traditional-style hand-woven Kutchi wool blanket (Dhabda) with Sacchi-vaat Jal stripe pattern. This blanket was handwoven by Rajan Vankar, a Bhujodi weaver who lives and works in Kutch, Gujarat, India.
Bhujodi weavers have long been important artisans in Kutch, responsible for creating stoles, scarves, and blankets for the pastoral Rabaris and other indigenous communities of the area.
