iRest Yoga Nidra

Date: Thursday, April 19, 2018
Time: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

iRest Yoga Nidra is a form of mindfulness meditation. In this hour long class you will lay down and get comfortable with your pillow and blanket. Lisa Fecarotta will guide you through the steps of iRest Yoga Nidra and as you move through your Koshas (body, breath, mind, intellect and divine) you will get deeply relaxed and may even fall asleep. All the while;  your body, mind and spirit will be gaining the deep benefits of Yoga Nidra.

iRest (integrated Restoration) Yoga Nidra, is a well researched  meditation that has been incorporated into many army bases, hospitals and mental health facilities. iRest can help in relieving symptoms of insomnia, PTSD, depression and provide a person with the tools to meet, greet and welcome all of life as it happens; finding peace, contentment and joy.

Attendees should plan to bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow.
