Rupa Trivedi is the founder of Adiv Pure Nature, a 10 year old venture based in Mumbai. She creates sustainable, green fashion through the waste recycling method making natural dyes from herbs, flowers, and recycled organic waste.
Her passion project, is called the “Temple Flower Project,” and it’s absolutely inspiring. Rupa has created her work out of the flowers given to the temples in India. Instead of letting these flowers go to waste, she has figured out a way to gather these flowers from the temples, which would normally be disposed of. She up-cycles them to make beautiful scarves and garments from the natural dyes available in these flowers. Rupa works with many designers around the world to share her passion for green fashion.
Rupa was selected to be a part of the book, True Colors: The World Masters of Natural Dyes & Pigments.
Sharing the love and admiration for traditional natural dyes and embracing its contributions towards a sustainable future. All you need to know about natural dyeing from artisans across the globe in one book.
