The Goldfinch egg was formed in 2013 when Caroline and Debra – friends who share a fascination and passion for textiles, old world craft and modern technology – believed they could hatch something useful and beautiful by combining all three.
With unique talents and vision under their wings, they went to find artisans in Nepal and Mexico, where making things by hand is still a way of life. Caroline and Debra design their collection in Minneapolis, but it is brought to life by the fine craftspeople they’ve found in these fascinating, far-away places.
